    How the Aircraft Tree works

In the Ace Combat 8 campaign you spend MRP (Military Result Points) on the Aircraft Tree. The tree sells three things: aircraft, upgrade parts and extra special weapons. A node only opens after a node connected to it is bought, so the price shown on a jet is not the price of reaching it.

    Aircraft route guides

One page per jet with the full route, every part to buy, special weapon prices, wingman copy cost and how many farming runs it takes.

Ace Combat 8 aircraft list: MRP price, wingman copy and special weapons

First copy price on the campaign Aircraft Tree. Extra copies for wingmen cost 1/8. The first special weapon listed comes with the jet.

    Ace Combat 8 MRP FAQ

How much MRP do I need for the F-35C in Ace Combat 8?

The F-35C node costs 550,000 MRP, but you can only buy it after the nodes in front of it. Through the cheapest documented route (the parts-only path to the Super Hornet, then the EA-18G Growler) the full bill is 1,495,000 MRP. Going through the Mirage 2000-5 first costs 1,587,500 MRP.

Do I have to buy the Mirage 2000-5?

No. The Super Hornets can also be reached through a chain of eight cheap parts (roll, acceleration, pitch and payload upgrades), 410,000 MRP in total including the F/A-18E. The Mirage route is popular because you get a usable multirole jet earlier, not because it is required.

How much MRP does it take to buy every aircraft?

The 27 regular Aircraft Tree jets cost 6,400,000 MRP. Adding the three post-campaign aircraft (FA-36 Game, EA-36 Barricader and X-40 Nightmare) brings it to 8,900,000 MRP. Upgrade parts and extra special weapons cost more on top of that.

How much does a wingman copy of an aircraft cost?

One eighth of the first-copy price, for example 30,000 MRP for an F/A-18E and 68,750 MRP for an F-35C.

What is the fastest way to farm MRP in Ace Combat 8?

Short replays win on MRP per hour. Mission 16 (Singer) can be cleared at S rank in about three minutes for roughly 70,000 MRP. Mission 23 pays more per run but takes about fifteen minutes. Use the farming table with your own loading time.

    How do I unlock the FA-36, EA-36 and X-40?

They join the Aircraft Tree after you clear Mission 30. The FA-36 (750,000 MRP) and X-40 (1,000,000 MRP) require owning an F-22A, F-35C or Su-57. The EA-36 (750,000 MRP) requires the FA-36.

Why are some aircraft marked "route not mapped"?

For those jets no reliable source lists every node in front of them yet. The calculator shows the aircraft price as a minimum. The real cost will be higher once the parts on the route are added.
